In this webinar, Lorrie will share the findings of recent feasibility studies by the ReCover Initiative exploring the potential for prefabricated panelized deep retrofits. The presentation will include prefabricated panel design details, modeled performance improvements and life cycle cost projections. Lorrie will share results from recently completed studies on municipally owned buildings and earlier residential buildings.

Speaker Bio:

Lorrie is Co-Founder of Habit Studio, an award-winning architectural and residential design practice, specializing in sustainable renovations and custom Passive Houses. She is co-founder and Design Director of the Recover Initiative, a non-profit Deep Retrofit Accelerator focused on developing and scaling deep retrofit solutions.

Lorrie is a building science specialist and is passionate about integrating Passive House performance and Biophilic Design principles into her work.  As an instructor with Passive House Canada, and a board member with Retrofit Canada and Passive Buildings Canada, she is a champion and advocate for high performance buildings across the country.

Lorrie is a Certified Passive House Designer and Tradesperson with a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies from Dalhousie University.
