A key mandate of the AEE Canada East is to give back to the energy engineering community by supporting students who have chosen to study for degrees/diplomas related to or in support of clean energy, energy efficiency, and climate change mitigation.

To date, the AEE Canada East chapter has established endowed scholarships at Carleton in Ottawa, and UNB in Fredericton.

Scholarship recipients for each award are included below.

In addition to the locally established scholarships, the Association of Energy Engineers offers a number of scholarships available to AEE members through the AEE Foundation.

Applications to AEE Foundation funded scholarships can be made through the local chapter. If you are an AEE Member and wish to apply for one of the available scholarships, please head to our AEE Foundation summary page for more information.

What’s next for me?
We’ll see! Whatever it is, I hope to continue to find and live the adventure in every day;
prioritize environmental and social justice, and meet new, passionate people everywhere I go. The excitement I feel for a career in “green” engineering came from many years of discovery throughout university and I have many people to thank for the opportunities, including AEE – thank you!
